McDonald’s gives $50,000 in scholarships to Borderland students

Nearly 20 local high school seniors have secured their chance at a higher education. 

Mcdonald's El Paso awarded $50,000 in scholarships to students. 

This is in partnership with UTEP and EPCC. 

The institutions matched this amount, allowing for $100,000 in scholarships to be given to students. 

Recipients we spoke to say they're grateful for the opportunity and are excited for what's to come.
