New amenities coming to northeast El Paso park

EL PASO, Texas -- The City of El Paso's Park and Recreation Department will be unveiling new amenities to Joey Barraza and Vino Memorial Park in northeast El Paso on Saturday.

The park, which already holds fields and a skate park, will now be getting a dog park, flat fields and a new all-amenities playground.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at 11270 McCombs.

There will be booths and even a yoga session. The community is encouraged to attend and bring your pets.
