CASA of El Paso searching for volunteers to help advocate for neglected kids

EL PASO, Texas -- Since 1986, CASA of El Paso also known as Court Appointed Special Advocates has been working to help abused and neglected kids who need representation in the family court system.

The organization trains volunters who get to know the child and offer a consistent, stable presence in the child’s life during a difficult time.

When children are removed from their home due to abuse or neglect, the judge will appoint volunteers, CASAs, to be that child’s advocate and help determine what is in the best interest of the child.

Being a CASA volunteer does not require any special education or background.

CASA of El Paso is looking 60 volunteers to serve 60 kids.
