Motorcyclist dies after hit-and-run on I-10 East and Yarbrough

UPDATE (June 29, 2026) -- The El Paso Police Department said a 29-year-old man died after Sunday's crash.

The crash happened at 9 p.m. Sunday at I-10 East at Yarbrough, police said.

According to a news release, Ricardo Dominguez drove his bike eastbound on I-10 while an unknown driver changed lanes at a high rate of speed.

The driver hit Dominguez, went to a hospital and died Monday, EPPD said.

Police weren't able to identify the driver who changed lanes. The news release said the driver was in a "light-colored vehicle."

Police said anyone with information about the crash can talk to 915-832-4400 or 915-566-8477 to stay anonymous.

EPPD said this marks the 24th traffic-related death in El Paso compared to 30 at this time last year.
