Metallica, Limp Bizkit to rock Sun Bowl Stadium in May 2027

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Metallica is scheduled to rock the Sun Bowl Stadium next May, the University of Texas at El Paso Office of Special Events announced Wednesday.

Limp Bizkit and Avatar will headline Metallica's M72 World Tour May 18, 2027.

This isn't Metallica's first visit to the Sun City. In 2019, the band took over the Don Haskins Center.

Ticket sales start Friday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m., according to Ticketmaster. Fans can buy tickets early.

Sept. 22 at 10 a.m.: Citi Cardmember Presale and Verizon Shine Presale Tickets

Sept 23 at 10 a.m.: Presale reserved for eligible Spotify Premium subscribers

Sept. 24 at 10 a.m.: Presale for Live Nation All Access members, SiriusXM and Radio/Local

Sept. 25 at 10 a.m.: General sale, Citi Cardmember preferred tickets and Verizon Shine select seats
