Woman dies after rollover at Loop 375 and Midway

UPDATE (Oct. 5, 2026): The El Paso Police Department on Monday said a 33-year-old woman died after Saturday's crash on Loop 375 East near Midway.

According to a news release, Celeste Dion Dominguez drove a Mazda car on Loop 375 when she veered off the road and hit a light pole. The car came to a stop on the Midway on-ramp and caught fire, police said.

Police said Dominguez veered off "for unknown reasons." Police said speed and alcohol are possible factors in the crash.

Dominguez died at the scene. Her death is the 50th traffic death, compared to 46 at this time last year.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Police Department says the Special Traffic Investigations Unit responded to a fatal crash involving a car that rolled over at Loop 375 and Midway.

According to officials, the call came in at 12:19 am Saturday, and one person died as a result of the crash.

Officials did not provide any information regarding the individual who died.
