Borderland residents can support local nursing students while shopping at Vista Markets

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- There is a new opportunity for Borderland residents to support local nursing students. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and Vista Markets have teamed up to launch the "Champions of Trusted Nursing Heroes" campaign for the Hunt School of Nursing.

Customers at Vista Markets can donate at the cash register to support the Hunt School of Nursing's Scholarship Fund. Every location will participate.

The fund will provide scholarships to help students complete their degrees.

Vista Markets will display wall badges to honor each donor.
