TTUHSC El Paso nursing students prepare to graduate this weekend

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Nursing students at the Hunt School of Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso are preparing for graduation this Saturday.

The school was established to counteract a long-term shortage of nurses in the area.

Hunt School of Nursing student John Kirtley joined ABC-7 at Noon to speak about the upcoming graduation.

"I would like to stay here and work locally," he said of his plans after graduation.
