Statewide Amber Alert: Police say 14-month-old Texas child abducted by woman

POTEET, Texas — A statewide Amber Alert was issued Saturday for a 14-month-old Texas boy allegedly abducted by a woman and believed to be in "grave danger."

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, little Edgar Nataniel Jesus Collins was last seen around 10 a.m. at a mobile home in Poteet, about 30 miles south of San Antonio.

Edgar is just over a year old and has black hair and brown eyes.

Officials named the child's alleged abductor as 28-year-old Catherine Angeline Ocan.

Police described Ocan is 5'4 and weighing 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was believed to be driving a blue 1999 Plymouth Voyager with a Texas license plate number LSJ8380.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts was asked by DPS to contact the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office at (830) 769-3434 or any local law enforcement agency.
