Watch: El Paso firefighters rescue pregnant migrant woman from top of border barrier

EL PASO, Texas -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection released video Tuesday afternoon, showing a 23-year-old pregnant migrant woman who had to be rescued after she became stranded while on top of the border barrier.

Agents said this happened on May 20 near downtown El Paso. Agents responded after being notified by the El Paso FIre Department of the stranded woman.

Firemen were able to use a rescue ladder to safely bring the woman off the barrier. Officials said the woman was pregnant and was taken to University Medical Center where she and her baby were found to be in good health.

CBP agents said the woman was expelled to Mexico under Title 42 that same day.
