2 pedestrians struck and killed on I-10 near Sunset Heights

UPDATE - Police officials say two pedestrians were killed in Sunday morning's deadly car crash.

Investigation revealed an unidentified man and woman, 20-30 years of age, were struck by a 2016 Dodge Dart while crossing I-10 from south to north.

Officials have identified the driver as 23-year-old Hasaan Credle of Ft Bliss, TX.

This traffic collision is the 19-traffic fatality compared to 17 this time last year.

EL PASO, Texas -- One person is dead after they were struck by a car overnight.

Fire dispatch say they were called to the scene at 12:40 Sunday morning on I-10 east near Porfirio Diaz in Sunset Heights.

Special traffic investigators have closed down I-10 east in the area in order to conduct their investigation into what led up to the deadly collision.

Police did not release any other information at this time.
