Drugs, body armor, ammunition seized from lower valley home in Socorro shooting investigation
EL PASO, Texas -- Socorro police seized two cars, a small amount of drugs, a set of body armor, ammunition and a weapon from a lower valley home in connection to a weekend shooting in Socorro that injured five people.
Investigators say the search warrant directly resulted from witness information from the shooting.
Socorro police, with the help of El Paso police, served a search warrant on a home on Arvin Circle near Shawver Park.
Socorro Police say investigators continue to work to identify a person or persons of interest in the attack.
Police called the Saturday shooting a "targeted attack" at a graduation party with as many as 100 attendees.
