El Paso man killed in a Sunday morning hit and run in central El Paso
EL PASO, Texas -- A 61-year-old man died after a driver rear-ended him Sunday morning in central El Paso, according to El Paso Police.
The victim has been identified as Juan Vasquez of west El Paso.
According to police, the unidentified driver of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was driving behind Vasquez when for some unknown reason, the driver crashed into Vasquez.
Police say Vasquez died at the scene. The driver of the Silverado crashed into a rock wall, then left the scene, according to police.
