EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A 19-year-old woman told El Paso police she was confronted by a stranger at her east El Paso home who she later recalled seeing at a laundromat.

Police arrested 28-year-old Christopher Aaron Rey. He's been charged with burglary of habitation. According to police, the woman told officers she was exiting her home to let out her dog when a man forced himself inside.

She was able to fight off the man and report the attempted sexual assault. She told police she recalled seeing a man at a laundromat who looked like the offender.

The incident happened Friday, April 7, just after 8 in the morning in the Cielo Vista area.

Rey was booked on a $100,000 bond.
