Multiple migrants killed in rollover crash along I-25

UPDATE - New Mexico State Police has confirmed that multiple migrants have been killed in a rollover crash that led to a closure along I-25 near Truth or Consequences.

NMSP's Crash Reconstruction team is on scene, and investigators are still working to learn more.

TURTH OR CONSEQUENCES, New Mexico (KVIA) - New Mexico State Police are on the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 25, just south of Truth or Consequences.

The collision has caused closures in both directors along the highway by MM 62 and 63.

NMSP has stated there are injured persons, however number and severity have not been confirmed by officials at this time.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
