Investigators identify motorcyclist killed in eastside crash

Update: El Paso Police say 28-year-old Andrew Trevino died in the crash. They say he was riding a motorcycle eastbound along Montana.

Traffic investigators say Trevino was unable to negotiate a curve and crashed into cement barriers. He was thrown from the motorcycle.

First responders rushed Trevino to the hospital where he died. Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.

The investigation is still ongoing. This is the 21st traffic fatality of the year, compared to 23 last year.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Special Traffic Investigators are responding to a crash along Montana Avenue at St. Croix Place in east El Paso. That's between George Dieter Drive and Saul Kleinfeld Drive.

Police officials tell ABC-7 that a motorcycle was involved in the collision. Investigators say one person was rushed to the hospital. We are working to learn the extent of their injuries.
