Update: Spur 601 to US 54 South overpass closure has been lifted
UPDATE: According to TxDOT, the closure has been lifted. All lanes have been reopened.
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso Police have the Spur 601 to US 54 South overpass closed. An ambulance can be seen on the scene.
Police have not yet said how long the closure is expected to last. They are asking the public to avoid driving in this area.
The call that initiated the closure came in at 4:08 PM, according to police.
