Sunday Funday: For Evan, a Camera Is a Second Home

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The cameras are rolling at Bazaar Models, where this week's Sunday Funday shines its spotlight on one model who's turning every shoot into something personal.

"I'm daring to see myself to do, all things, at Bazaar," said Evan.

For some, a camera is a spotlight.

For Evan George Vourazeris — it's a second home.

"It doesn't matter, what defines me as a person. It doesn't define me, who I am. Because, yes, I do have down syndrome, and I'm grateful for it, and, anybody can do anything," Evan told ABC-7's Olivia Vara during the interview.

At Bazaar Models in El Paso, this rising star is turning his love of modeling into something bigger than a photo.

"Modeling, if its being in the entertainment industry, and that's the best thing about Bazaar. It's a safe environment, a safe place," said Evan.

"It's just, like, a pleasure to work with him," said Juan Granados, an instructor at Bazaar Models.

From wardrobe, to lighting, to the perfect angle, every detail matters — because for Evan, every chance to model is the chance to share a piece of himself with the Borderland.

"Talented. He has so much, credibility in the industry as well. So it gives us more credibility as well. Like just having him here. It elevates the brand. And he's always very like, attentive and willing to learn," said Juan.

With El Paso behind him and the future ahead, Evan is just getting started.

"Ohana means family, and no one is left behind," Evan told ABC-7's Olivia Vara during the interview.
