How EPCC Mobile Food Pantry combats food insecurity this Hunger Action Month
El Paso Community College is teaming up with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger to provide Mobile Food Pantries at campuses around the City of El Paso for this Hunger Action Month — a nationwide campaign to raise awareness on food insecurity in the U.S.
Good Morning El Paso's Nicole Ardila joins EPCC Tuesday morning to discuss EPCC's mobile pantries and partnership with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger to provide food to the entire community at all of their campuses.
They also have Tejano Mercado Pop-ups at all mobile pantry locations this September.
EPCC will also open up a permanent Tejano Mercado at the Mission Del Paso Campus, for students, faculty and staff, and will hold special hours at the Valle Verde and Rio Grande Campus through the month of September.
The Mobile Pantry will be on every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – Noon, unless there is an alternative time noted on the flyer, at the campuses and dates below until the end of November.
Texas residents are asked to bring their own bag and/or wagon and supplies available while they last.
