Lincoln Park Day returns to celebrate Chicano culture

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) - Lincoln Park Day returns for the 22nd year and for the first time in the newly renamed 'Lincoln Park El Paso's Chicano Park' on Saturday.

The event is focused on the art that makes Chicano culture including custom lowriders, zoot suits, and live music.

Organizers say this is meant to be a day to bring the community together to recognize the cultural significance of Lincoln Park and the rich Chicano heritage of El Paso.

The event is free to attend scheduled to last from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
