ABC-7 First Alert: Flash Flood Warning for the Lower Valley and Central/East/West El Paso until 2 AM; TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN

The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the Lower Valley and Central/East/West El Paso until 2 AM. A thunderstorm with torrential rainfall has produced three quarts of an inch of rain in 30 minutes near Socorro and this storm is moving into portions of El Paso that have already received up to 1.5 inches of rain earlier this evening.

A Flood Watch remains in effect for all of the Borderland until Wednesday evening as multiple rounds of scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected.
