U.S. Navy Blue Angles land in El Paso for the 2026 Amigo Airsho.

It's time for take-off!

The Amigo Airsho returns to Fort Bliss this weekend, and you're set for two days packed with thrill and action.

Guests will be watching the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, showcasing the power of naval aviation — loud and fast.

Next, you'll see the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor — a fighter jet that you not only hear its roar, you feel it!

It's just below supersonic level.

Not only will you see aircrafts, but you'll see soldiers jumping out in the sky —The U.S. Army Black Knights Parachute Team.

ABC-7 spoke with Kellie Hudson, the Amigo Airsho's air boss, and if you love adrenaline like she does, she says you're guaranteed to have a great time.

"It is going to be loud and it is going to be exciting, and we're going to show you that air power," says Hudson. "We all are passionate about what we do. Everyone flying those planes, whether they're military or civilians, we're all very passionate about what we do and so just expect a good time. Lots of smiles, lots of laughs."

There's also a lot of action on the ground, including the Fort Bliss Army Display where you can explore military vehicles, equipment, and technology up close, and meet soldiers and ask them questions.

You'll also find tank demos and can climb in the cockpit of the legendary jet made by Top Gun.

Despite the numerous thrilling activities and spectacles, the air boss shares how this event is more than that.

"When you invite civilians onto a military installation, you're actually bringing the community together," says Hudson. "It's not just that. I mean, we're right by Mexico, we have Las Cruces... So it's not just the El Paso community, it's the surrounding communities."

Gates open Saturday Oct. 24 at 9 a.m. at the MSG Peña Gate at Fort Bliss.

All attendees will be shuttled, make sure to bring your government issued I.D.
