El Paso resident with British ties remembers the Queen

EL PASO, Texas -- Some El Paso residents with British ties are remembering Queen Elizabeth II.

The Daughters of the British Empire is a charity that helps support people from the British Isles and Common Wealth regions.

"She was always steady... she was very loyal to her people and she put her duty between everything else. That's what I admire about her the most. And that's her crowning achievement. She's gone through a lot of personal problems and family problems like we all do, but she's always been strong," said Linda Larbicherif, a member of the organization.

The Queen will be buried in less than ten days, following British Royal protocol.
