After a year of playing, Tori came back home and enrolled at the University of Texas at El Paso. She will be graduating this December with a degree in Childhood Education.

Also, upon coming home, Tori decided to create her own club team, Sun City Scorchers, at age 18. Sun City Scorchers were designed to be help players be their best selves on and off the court.

Through the direction of Tori, Scorchers have participated in community service events, does frequent grade checks on the players, and promotes the importance of family too.

To continue her volleyball education, Tori was also part of the volleyball coaching staff at Mayfield High School for the 2019 season, increased her certification rankings through USA Volleyball, and has been mentored by a USA Volleyball Olympic Coach.

Throughout 21 years of life, Tori currently has a total of 11 years of playing experience and 6 years of coaching experience.

Scorchers have increased in size over the past three years, and her goal is one day open a state-of-the-art facility to house the Scorchers permanently.
