#WestTexasStrong: Pebble Hills to present Midland banner prior to football game

Another El Paso area high school will stand in solidarity with a Midland-Odessa area school prior to a high school football game this week in the wake of the latest mass shooting.

Pebble Hills High School travels to Midland High School Friday.

In a show of support, the Spartans will present the Midland High School football team a #WestTexasStrong banner prior to kickoff.

The banner displays both schools’ logos with ‘El Paso Strong’ and ‘Midland Strong’ underneath and a picture of the state of Texas with a heart over the two cities.

In between the two logos, the sign reads: ‘Pebble Hills High School supports Midland High School #WestTexasStrong.’

The team will gather in the cafeteria Friday morning to sign the banner before traveling to Midland for the game.

The Franklin Cougars also signed a banner earlier this week and will present it to the Permian Panthers when they play in Odessa Thursday night.
