No stopping NMSU, Aggies roll over Grand Canyon University for 17th consecutive win

PHOENIX, Arizona -- The New Mexico State Aggies have simply been unstoppable.

Entering Thursday's game at Grand Canyon University, the Aggies were on a 16 game winning streak.

NMSU had no problem against the Antelopes, winning by a final score of 67-53 for the team's 17th consecutive win.

NMSU's Jabari Rice led the way in scoring for the Aggies with 16 points.

A big factor in the game was NMSU's ability to rebound with 25 offensive rebounds on the night.

The Aggies led the whole game and made it look easy against the Antelopes.

It was a game that didn't mean much for NMSU after already clinching the WAC regular season title last weekend.

However, the Aggies know they have a big target on their back with teams wanting to put an end to their winning streak.

Two more regular season games are on the schedule for NMSU before the start of the WAC Tournament.

Aggies will head to California State Bakersfield on Saturday before they return home to wrap up the regular season against California Baptist on March 5th.
