Community Champions: Coronado’s Ian Uraga headed to UIL state tennis tournament

EL PASO, Texas - Coronado's Ian Uraga is on a mission.

The Coronado High School junior is once again headed to the Class 6A UIL state tournament in tennis.

This is the second straight year he's qualified for the state tournament.

As a sophomore last season, Uraga made it all the way to the championship match, but lost in the final to finish in second place.

This year he's hoping to win it all, and he's leaning on his tournament experience from last year to hopefully give him an edge.

For all his accomplishments this season, Ian Uraga is this week's Community Champion.

Community Champions is sponsored by Albertsons and the El Paso Community Foundation.
