Thursday high school football: Franklin, Eastlake & Anthony score big wins

EL PASO, Texas - Week 3 of the high school football season kicked off with a showdown for westside bragging rights.

The Franklin Cougars squared off against the Coronado Thunderbirds in a district 1-6A matchup.

It was as close a game as you could get as Franklin came away victorious by just a single point, 14-13.

Franklin improves to 3-0 on the season, while Coronado falls to 1-2.
