Community Champions: UTEP’s Ashlee Mora to compete at FIFA U20 World Cup

EL PASO, Texas - A member of the UTEP soccer team is getting ready for an opportunity of a lifetime. 

UTEP's Ashlee Mora is headed to Poland as she prepares to join the Mexican national team. 

The team will compete at the FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup.

Mora just played her first game of the season with the Miners. 

UTEP opened the season with a 2-0 victory against Lamar University. 

Mora will be away from the team while she competes with the Mexican national team.

The World Cup tournament begins September 5. 

For all her accomplishments, Mora is this week's Community Champion.
