The Ballpark Boys: Father & son on cross-country journey to visit ballparks

EL PASO, Texas - Baseball has always been a shared passion for Jon Manuel and his 11-year-old son, Jackson Manuel.

The two are on a cross-country quest to visit as many ballparks as possible.

They are known as the Ballpark Boys.

It doesn't matter whether it's a Major League Baseball stadium or a Minor League park, the fun is in the journey.

They chronicle their adventures on social media and they even have their own podcast, 'The Ballpark Boys.' 

Saturday, the Ballpark Boys were in El Paso for their first ever visit to Southwest University Park. 

It was their 64th visit to a ballpark.

After Saturday's Chihuahuas' game, the two then hit the road to Albuquerque, New Mexico for an Isotopes game. 

That marked ballpark #65 for the Ballpark Boys.
