One-on-one with UTEP’s Dana Dimel; Miners look to get season back on track when Boise State comes to town

EL PASO, Texas - It's not how the UTEP Miners envisioned the start of their season, but there's still time to turn things around.

With a record of 1-3, UTEP now turns their attention to the Boise State Broncos.

The Broncos are 2-1 on the season and are riding a two game win streak.

UTEP is coming off a loss on the road against New Mexico.

UTEP head coach Dana Dimel spoke with ABC-7's Rachel Phillips about the team's mindset headed into Friday's game against Boise State.

The challenges he expects from the Broncos and the reason for his team's struggles at this point of the season.

UTEP will host Boise State Friday at 7:00 p.m.
