One-on-one with UTEP’s Dana Dimel; Miners prepare for road test against Arizona

EL PASO, Texas - The UTEP Miners have a tough challenge in front of them this Saturday in the Grand Canyon State.

UTEP will hit the road to Tucson, AZ to face another power five conference opponent in the Arizona Wildcats out of the Pac-12.

UTEP enters the match-up 1-2 on the season coming off a road loss against the Big Ten's Northwestern Wildcats.

This is the second straight game that the Miners will face an opponent out of a power five conference.

Arizona is 1-1 on the season coming off an overtime loss at Mississippi State.

Arizona is favored by 17 points in the matchup.

ABC-7 spoke with UTEP head coach Dana Dimel in a exclusive one-on-one interview.

Coach Dimel discussed the season so far, and the challenges he expects from the Wildcats.
