EL PASO, Texas - UTEP women’s basketball head coach Keitha Adams announced the Miners’ 2026-27 schedule on Wednesday.

The upcoming campaign marks Adams’ 20th season at the helm of the UTEP women’s basketball program across two stints and the Miners’ first season as members of the Mountain West Conference.

The slate features 16 home contests at the Don Haskins Center, a three-game tournament at Texas State and an 18-game Mountain West schedule.

“What an exciting year for our UTEP Miner fans,” Adams said. “The Mountain West Conference brings back great history. We’re looking forward to this year’s season. We have 16 home games in the Don Haskins Center, 10 new players and an exciting group. I’m fired up to start the season and play some great basketball!”

The Miners will open the season with six consecutive home contests at the Don Haskins Center, beginning with Western New Mexico on Nov. 2. UTEP will then welcome Incarnate Word (Nov. 7), rival NM State (Nov. 10), Alabama State (Nov. 14), Kansas City (Nov. 18) and Texas Southern (Nov. 21).

UTEP will spend Thanksgiving week on the road at the Texas State Tournament from Nov. 25-28. The Miners will face host Texas State, Bradley and Pacific during the three-game event.

The Orange and Blue return to the road in December for three non-conference contests, beginning with the second installment of the Battle of I-10 at NM State on Dec. 5. UTEP will then travel to California for matchups at UC Irvine (Dec. 12) and CSU Bakersfield (Dec. 14).

The Miners close out the non-conference portion of the schedule at home against UC Santa Barbara on Dec. 19 before turning their attention to Mountain West play.

UTEP’s inaugural Mountain West campaign begins with back-to-back road contests at New Mexico on Dec. 30 and UNLV on Jan. 2.

The Miners make their Mountain West home debut against UC Davis on Jan. 6 before hosting San José State (Jan. 9). UTEP then travels to Grand Canyon (Jan. 13) before returning to the Don Haskins Center to face Nevada (Jan. 16).

UTEP continues conference action at Wyoming (Jan. 20) before hosting Air Force (Jan. 23) and UNLV (Jan. 27). The Miners close January on the road at Nevada on Jan. 30.

Following a bye, UTEP opens February at home against Hawai‘i on Feb. 5. The Miners then travel to UC Davis (Feb. 10), return home to face Wyoming (Feb. 13) and hit the road for consecutive contests at Air Force (Feb. 17) and San José State (Feb. 20).

The Orange and Blue close the month with a home matchup against Grand Canyon on Feb. 24 before traveling to Hawai‘i on Feb. 27.

UTEP concludes the regular season at the Don Haskins Center against New Mexico on March 2.

The Miners will then make their first appearance at the 2027 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women’s Basketball Championship, held March 7-10 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The 2026-27 season marks a new era for UTEP women’s basketball as the Miners begin competition in the Mountain West after competing in Conference USA since the 2005-06 season.

Dates are subject to change. Game times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
