Victim identified in south-central El Paso shooting

UPDATE (05/05): El Paso police have identified a south-central El Paso shooting victim as 38-year-old Alejandro Toquinto. Police say the victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. No arrests have been made. Gang unit investigators continue looking into the shooting.

EL PASO, Texas – A shooting in south-central El Paso has sent one person to the University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to El Paso police.

Police say there have not been any arrests. A Police notification was sent minutes before 10 p.m.
