UPDATE (05/12): El Paso police have identified the motorcyclist killed in the crash as 34-year-old Adrian Torres of east El Paso.

UPDATE (05/11): El Paso police say a 28-year-old driver failed to yield the right of way to a motorcyclist driving south on McCombs on Tuesday. The motorcyclist crashed into a car driven by Stacey Elena Cook.

The motorcyclist has not been identified, pending next of kin notification.

Police say Cook was turning left from the northbound lanes of McCombs.

This crash comes as the Texas Department of Transportation has launched its annual "Share the Road: Look twice for Motorcycles" campaign.

The campaign urges motorists to look twice for motorcycles, especially at intersections, where motorcycle collisions most commonly occur.

El PASO, Texas -- El Paso police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in northeast El Paso.

It happened just after 9:30 p.m. near McCombs St. and Salem Dr. Police said the crash involved a motorcycle and another vehicle.
