6,000 mail-in ballots corrected after error was found

EL PASO, Texas --

About 6,000 El Paso County voters will receive a new ballots after the originals were found to contain an error according to El Paso Matters. The error: The Texas agriculture commissioner was left out of the ballots that were filed on or before October 4th.

If you happened to get one of these ballots, you will be sent a new one with a notation on the envelope that says "corrected ballot." Should you happen to return both ballots only the corrected ballot will be counted.
