El Paso bicyclist killed after hit-and-run crash

UPDATE -- Special Traffic Investigators continue to investigate after the death of bicyclist.

According to EPPD, 25- year-old Kayci Deaundre McCrory was traveling east in the far right lane of I-10 near Dallas on an electric bicycle.

McCrory was struck from behind around 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Investigators say the driver of Black F-150 fled the scene, but the vehicle received front-end damage.

Police said moments later a second vehicle was planning on exiting the freeway when he struck the bicyclist who was lying on the ground.

The driver immediately alerted police.

McCrory died at the scene.

Investigators are now looking for the driver of the F-150.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477.

This is the 60th traffic fatality compared to 57 at this same time last year.

EL PASO, Texas - One person has died after a bicyclist vs. vehicle collision in Central El Paso, according to El Paso Police.

The collision happened on I-10 East and Dallas St.

Traffic is being diverted at the downtown exit, according to police.
