El Paso police search for driver of black Ford F150 after deadly crash

UPDATE #2: El Paso detectives believe a Ford F150 collided with a car, sending the car over a concrete barrier and onto Loop 375. Detectives say the driver of the Ford 150 then drove off.

An El Paso man inside the vehicle that was struck, a Ford Ranger, died at the scene of the crash. Police have identified that man as 67-year-old Jesus Lara-Fernandez of central El Paso.

Police do not have much information about the Ford F150 but they do believe it was black in color.

Police are asking for anyone with information to call them at (915)-566-8477.

UPDATE: El Paso police say one person has died after a rollover crash Tuesday morning near Loop 375 and the Zaragoza International Bridge.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso police responded to a rollover crash with serious injuries early Tuesday morning near Loop 375 and the Zaragoza International Bridge.

It happened around 6:05 a.m. Police said all southbound traffic on Cesar Chavez and Americas was shut down as they investigated the incident.

Police didn't say how many people were hurt, and didn't indicate what prompted the crash. Traffic investigators were called out to the scene.
