UPDATE (03/14): El Paso police say road rage played a role in a deadly collision late Saturday night. Police say 23-year-old John Michael Adelberg was driving east on Mesa Hills drive while 39-year-old Michael Allen Ransdell was driving south on Sunland Park. Investigators say Adelberg saw Ransdell had his right turn signal on and assumed he would make a right at Mesa Hills drive. As Adelberg turned into Sunland Park he got in the Ransdell's path.

Investigators say Adelberg merged into the left lane to allow Ransdell to pass. That's when police say a road rage incident occurred. According to police, as both cars continued south on Sunland Park drive towards the highway on-ramp, Ransdell veered into Adelberg's car, causing a collision.
