Military Monday: Honoring Army Veteran Christina Velez

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- ABC-7 is saluting the men and women of our armed forces and our veterans with Military Monday.

Today we are recognizing Military Monday: Honoring Army Veteran Christina Velez.

Velez retired 16 years ago. In 2010 she returned as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 with three combat tours, one peace keeping operation and six overseas tours. She now runs a local animal rescue.
