StormTrack Weather: Sunny and breezy conditions expected Sunday afternoon

EL PASO, Texas-- The start of this Memorial Day weekend was warm and dry. The borderland had a high of 92 which put us two degrees above our average high of 90 degrees.

Sunday's highs will top off in the upper 80s with breezy and dry conditions expected.

We will begin the new week with breezy winds and dry weather before a cold front arrives Monday night turning winds to the east. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will be possible Monday evening for areas east of the Rio Grande.

Temperatures will be cooler on Tuesday with highs in the mid 80s. Temperatures rebound slightly Wednesday and Thursday with primarily dry weather.

Rain chances return areawide Friday into next weekend as an upper low shifts closer.
