StormTrack Weather: Dry and windy conditions expected for the next few days

StormTrack Weather: Sunday Evening

EL PASO, Texas-- A few stray showers popped up near the Socorro area late Sunday afternoon. Dry conditions are expected Sunday evening as well as low end windy conditions. Gusts of up to 35 mph are expected tonight into Monday morning.

Dry and windy conditions will be the normal for the next couple of days as an unseasonably strong upper low moves through the Northwest United States.

As this system exits, a strong upper high will build over the region and bring some moisture to southwestern New Mexico around midweek and slowly spread east into the weekend.

Temperatures will run near normal to start the week before warming back toward 100 degrees by the weekend.
