ABC-7 First Alert: Strong winds Tuesday

Good Sunday morning. I went ahead and issued a First Alert for this Tuesday- what you can expect are some strong winds. Expect winds to gust up to 40-50 mph on Tuesday afternoon. The winds will be coming from the west so that means if you live on the eastern slopes or sides of any mountains, you'll likely experience stronger wind gusts (more in the 50 mph range) at times on Tuesday afternoon.

What about today? Both today and tomorrow will be very nice days. Today will be a little breezier than tomorrow, but overall less breezy than it was yesterday. Both days will be fairly warm with temps about 4-8 degrees above normal, with highs in the mid 80s.

Once we have that next weather system move through the area on Tuesday, behind it, cooler temperatures will return. We will finally be right around where we want to be through the end of the week, which is in the mid 70s. Your Halloween is looking sunny and 76 degrees as of now, and trends are tending to go warmer so we will update you on that!
