El Paso, Texas-- It was a cold start to the day but the borderland was just two degrees shy of hitting the first freeze of the season.

Overnight temperatures will not be as cold as Sunday morning but still chilly.

The start of the week will bring above average temperatures. Our next disturbance will push through through Tuesday into Wednesday bringing strong winds with it.

Gusts of up to 45 mph are expected Wednesday early afternoon.

Our next disturbance will push through by the end of the week into the weekend bringing much colder temperatures and moisture.
