ABC-7 First Alert: Windy and dusty Memorial Day Weekend

Happy Saturday! Another windy and dusty day in the books, and these similar conditions will impact us for the rest of the weekend...unfortunate for those of you who are planning outdoor celebrations. The good news is, it won't be quite as hot as it was today for the next two days- highs will be in the mid 90s.

The winds will continue out of the WSW which is the direction where we get the most blowing dust across the region...so that will very likely be what we see for the next 2 days. Take your family gatherings inside if you can, and be careful with those grills. Red flag conditions (fire weather conditions) will stick around through the weekend, so if your grill sparks up and gets out of control you could start a fire. Beware.

By Tuesday, winds should be lighter, but temperatures will rise through Wednesday. By the end of the week, we have a chance for storms! Yay!!
