ABC-7 First Alert: New high record set in El Paso, hot tomorrow

Hey everyone, hope you are surviving this hot day! We officially broke last year's record of 106 by reaching 107 today! Sheesh! Tomorrow is looking to be just about as hot across the region with highs in the mid 100s, but not as hot as the other records this week. We will slowly cool down every day, and by the end of the workweek, we should be in the mid 90s. Some relief, but not much!

I'm keeping a low chance of rain for the week ahead as we will have some moisture overhead which could allow some rain showers and thunderstorms to form. The best chances for rain/storms are over area mountains, but could move into the lowlands. Where ever they do, expect some stronger winds at times. Stay cool and stay indoors if you can!
