ABC-7 First Alert: Hot Monday, then slow cool down

Good evening everyone. It's been another sweaty day in the Borderland but we are making it through...right...right?! If you don't like the heat, you're not going to like tomorrow. Unfortunately, it's going to be another tough day with highs in the mid 100s. Monday will be a bit breezy too, making it feel like a blow dryer out there.

After Monday, Flag Day on Tuesday will be another warm one with highs in the low 100s, and after Tuesday we will slowly start to cool down every day. By Friday we should be back in the mid to upper 90s, which will feel "somewhat" better.

Every day we keep low chances of rain in the forecast. A few thunderstorms may form each day, but mostly on top of area mountains. Lighter rain showers that pop up on radar are seeing their rain drops evaporating before they hit the surface. That is the weather feature we call virga...where the clouds look like they have streaks of moisture coming out of them. Stay cool ya'll!
