ABC-7 First Alert: Storms begin Father’s Day evening and stick around

Good evening all. We are seeing a couple scattered showers out and about today, but that activity will increase starting on Sunday afternoon. With moist southerly flow, we will see an increase in rain showers and storms likely after 4 PM on Father's Day. They will stick with us for the rest of that evening and then on Monday afternoon and Tuesday we are looking at the likeliness of widespread rain both afternoons.

Flash flooding will likely be a threat each afternoon, as well as gusty winds, and small hail. After Wednesday morning will will start to dry out for the rest of the week.

Highs will be in the low 90s and mid 80s for Monday and Tuesday and then will rise back to at or above average by the end of the next work week. Stay safe!
