ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Windy evening with rain chances

Hi all and happy Sunday. For the rest of this evening, expect a few showers and storms to develop across the region. Yes, that means you may get some rain at your place...however, I think the best chance for storms will be across Dona Ana county and north. Where thunderstorms develop, I do expect the possibility of localized flooding, small hail, gusty winds, and lightning as well. Here's your friendly reminder: when thunder roars, go indoors.

This evening, winds will pick up as well, and will gust anywhere between 20-30 mph. Not the best for a good hair day. After today, monsoonal moisture will stick with us for the rest of the week with daily thunderstorm and rainstorm chances. Our temperatures will stay below the normal by about 5 degrees this week.
