Colder air behind a cold front

El Paso ties a record high today of 77 degrees. The warmest since November 9th when it was 81.

But for now we say goodbye to the very warm temperatures and must deal with highs below normal in the 50's - all courtesy of a cold front moving east. The winds will turn more to the NW/N tonight and ushering the colder air.

Another cold front arrives Thursday.
